THREE TIER DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

The Stable feels that teaching the value of education to our members is the most important responsibility within our organization. The Stable feels so strongly about this that we require all members to maintain a 3.0 GPA. In order to assist our members in obtaining their academic goal, The Stable is staffed with Massachusetts licensed teachers and a Guidance Counselor. Our staff of teachers is available to Triple Crown members for one on one tutoring sessions, and our Guidance Counselor meets with members on a quarterly basis to develop academic game plans.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

In sports, athletes are always taught to be team players. At The Stable, we promote being a team player both on and off the field. At our League Leader and Triple Crown membership levels, members are required to do a specified number of volunteer hours. We provide our members a variety of Stable staffed volunteer opportunities for them to take part in as a representation of the academy. Members are given the opportunity to choose what volunteer program(s) they want to take part in and how they will distribute their required hours. We allow our members these freedoms so they can feel a sense of ownership and pride in how they volunteer their time.

ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT

At all three levels of membership, members are required to attend 52 hours of private instruction. Members choose how they will use these hours based on their personal schedule. Some members may do two half hour sessions a week, while others may choose to do a single one hour session per week.

During these private sessions, instructors will be working to develop a complete player. We want our players to excel in all areas of the game such as: pitching, defense, arm strength, speed, hitting for both power and average, and game knowledge. It is our instructor's responsibility to develop a workout plan that will develop these areas and produce a well-rounded baseball player. It is the member's responsibility to allow themselves to be coached and to work hard at the drills and exercises provided by their instructor.
